I ordered a trial of 3 magazines for £3 of a magazine I was interested in, but didn't want to commit too. They took the £3 and the first magazine turned up however when I checked my bank it became clear a direct debit had been set up. I cancelled the direct debit, expecting the £3 to have covered the 3 issue trial however no more issues arrived.I understand that this is a common method of tricking people into buying things they don't really want, assuming that they'll not bother to cancel the debit.A £3 trial is a trial though, and you should send what you offer to send, not cancel the last two issues when I don't fall for it.
